ingvo clauder, born in ueberlingen, germany in 1976, formed his musical language under an artisitic influence of waldorf education and a 10-year-study of classical piano performance with hans-udo kreuels at the vorarlberg conservatory, austria, where he also gained padagogical (igp) and concert-performance (konzertfach) qdiplomas in 1999 and 2003, respectively.
in parallel with the study in austria, he took a bmus course with anthony green at trinity college of music london and graduated with first class honour in 2002. during this time, he took part in several competitions and was the winner of the gladys puttick memorial prize for extemporization and the mehroo and byram jeejeebhoy prize for achievement in piano playing.
early 2008, after 4 years of study at the state university of music and performing arts stuttgart with ulrich suesse and marco stroppa, he also received a diploma of composition/computer music.
due to his interests in various types of music, ingvo clauder is an active musician not only in classical music but also in jazz, and free improvisation. in 2003, together with lucas dietrich, he founded a contemporary music label and edition platform «fonorum».
